UCAC to discuss devolution at Plaid Cymru Conference

A panel of experts will partake in a discussion on the devolution of teachers' pay and conditions to Wales, answering questions such as:
- What would be the best and fairiest pay system for teachers in Wales?
- How to ensure that wages are equal if not better for teachers in Wales?
- What are the next steps for the Welsh Government and what is UCAC's role?
The panel members are:
- Simon Thomas AC, Plaid Cymru's Shadow Minister for Education
- Osian Elias, PHD student at Aberystwyth University
- Rolant Nefydd Wynne, UCAC Field Officer in north Wales
The meeting will be chaired by Dilwyn Ellis Hughes, UCAC's former National Preisdent.
