UCAC shows support for the people of Catalonia

UCAC joined scores of people in Sgwâr Glyndwr, Aberystwyth on the evening of Monday 2 October to show solidarity with the people of Catalonia.

Elaine Edwards, UCAC's General Secretary said "This event - and many others across Wales and beyond - are a sign of unity in the face of repression, and support for those attempting to exercise their right to freedom of expression and democratic rights.

"It's crucial that we should speak out against injustice, whether close to home or further afield.

"These are the core values of the trade union movement."
