UCAC, in collaboration with a number of other unions in Neath Port Talbot, is supporting a petition campaign calling on Welsh Government members to  protect local government when determining the budget this Autumn.

A number of our members will be retiring or moving to new posts in September and UCAC wshes you well in the next chapter of your lives.

UCAC have had a productive meeting with Sandra Taylor, Development Manager of Teacher Support Wales, in which we considered various challenges  facing the teaching profession. The discussion noted the charity's Education Manifesto for 2015-2020 which is a response to 'alarming findings' arising from their support services.
