Call for suspension of redundancy process following RCT High Court decision
UCAC education union has called on Rhondda Cynon Taf to suspend its redundancy process for nursery staff, in light of today’s High Court verdict that the Council’s decision to axe nursery places was unlawful.
A spokesperson on behalf of UCAC said “The redundancy process that has been taking place over recent months has caused significant stress and worry to our members.
“Since there is now uncertainty about the original decision, we are calling on the Council to suspend the redundancy process until the situation becomes clearer.”
